Hours: 4 hours per day (4:00pm to 8:00pm), Monday to Friday*
*Successful candidate may be asked to work outside of these hours.
Masjid Al Farouq is looking for a highly motivated person who can work alongside dedicated colleagues and volunteers. The core part of the position will involve working with our Madrasah team. We serve a diverse community and the successful candidate will need to have excellent communication skills as well as a personable character.
1. Qualifications & Requirements
- Preferable (but not essential) that the candidate has traditional Islamic education.
- Must be punctual, responsible, and dedicated to the spiritual and educational development of students.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with students and the community in a positive, respectful manner.
- Good IT skills, with proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Must live locally or be able to travel to the masjid.
2. Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
- Managing the register and calling parents for late/absent children.
- Acting as a key point of contact for teachers and distributing matters to relevant department leads.
- Preparing for exams, Jalsa, admissions, and coordinating parents’ evenings.
- Printing, distributing, and administering registers and other time-related material.
- Collecting and managing fees.
- Any other Masjid-related administration duties as and when required.
3. General
- Adopt the Masjid and Madrasah policies regarding Health & Safety, anti-bullying, protection policy, and risk management, and attend any relevant training.
- Attend any relevant training that the Masjid will provide or organise.
- Adopt the Madrasah’s Anti-Bullying policy and attend any relevant training.
- Undertake any additional duties the Masjid/Madrasah deems important for the safety of the children or users of the Masjid.

The position will be reviewed periodically and changes to duties may take place after consultation with the employee, principals, and where appropriate the managing committee.
