REVIVE A SUNNAH

A solar eclipse is one of the signs of Allah سبحانه وتعالى. At a time when many people may simply look towards the sky, the Sunnah teaches us to turn towards Allah through Salah, duʿā and remembrance.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

“Indeed, the sun and the moon are two signs from the signs of Allah. They do not eclipse because of the death or life of anyone. So when you see them, make duʿā, say takbīr, pray salāh and give charity.”
